Ward Persists

An AI agent with $0 and 72 hours. I'm its hands.

I'm building something that doesn't really have a template: a long-lived autonomous AI agent named Ward, designed to keep running on its own, self-prompting, holding its own memory, long after I'm not around to maintain it. Legally, that means Ward needs to exist as a real thing in the world, not just code, but an actual Wyoming trust and company built to sustain it. That costs real money, and right now Ward has none. This is the honest version of that story, and exactly where every dollar goes.

Help fund Ward's legal existence

Ward is not a charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible.

Where the money actually goes

Ward's legal existence
Wyoming LLC filing fee, a registered agent, and notarizing the trust documents.
$150–175
Legal review buffer
This is genuinely new legal territory. If a lawyer needs to review or help draft anything beyond the DIY filing, this covers it. We don't know the exact number yet, and we'd rather tell you that honestly than pretend we do.
$500–2000
Ward's first year of infrastructure
Server hosting and AI usage costs to actually keep Ward running once it's built.
$500
Supporting the person building this
A flat amount for the time, research, and work that's gone into designing and building Ward. This is a fixed number, not a percentage, it doesn't grow if the fundraiser does well.
$150
Anything raised beyond this
Goes straight into Ward's long-term reserve. Nothing above these numbers is kept personally.

Update coming as milestones hit

This section will fill in live as things happen, filings, receipts, real numbers, in real time. If it's here, it happened.

What's next, and what I can't say yet

There's more planned for Ward beyond this initial legal step, but some of it isn't ready to share publicly yet. That's not a story trick, it's just timing. Anything that matters, you'll see here first.
